My 6am Morning Routine (Summer 2021) | Skincare, Movement, Mindfulness

This is probably one of my most requested videos, so here it is... my 6am morning routine! One version of it anyways. While every morning is a little bit different, I do have pretty consistent non-negotiables that I know help me feel my best before I start work for the day. Consider this also a "get ready with me”, because I documented this all in real-time to show you the most authentic routine as I could.

My morning routine typically flows through these core elements. More on that in this video circa 2019 ~ kinda embarrassing lol... your girl has come a long way in video production world, but the content is still relevant.

  1. Gratitude - Wake up, say thank you for another day, do a quick body scan… “how am I feeling today?”

  2. Hydrate - Drink a glass of water to jumpstart my hydration, since I tend to forget to drink water later on in the day.

  3. Presence - I do something to get out of my head and into my body... meditate, stretch, yoga, HIIT, strength training. This depends on my energy levels and overall just how I'm feeling! Even if it's just for 5 minutes, every little bit counts. It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing.

  4. Nourish - I like to make a matcha latte, because it nourishes me, makes me feel calm, and it's a daily ritual that I really connect to.

  5. Reset - I do a quick 10-minute tidy-up if needed to reset my space and get ready to start my workday.
