Yoga for Body Positivity + Self-Love Manifesto (Free Download)
Styled by Athleta
Hi, my loves - I was browsing through Pinterest the other day, and I came across this quote:
"Eat like you love yourself. Move like you love yourself. Speak like you love yourself. Act like you love yourself."
It's such a simple sentiment, right? Yet, it can be difficult to put into action. I think of all the times I feel discouraged, unsure, or how I'm just so damn hard on myself, and how I am actually the only person standing in my way. I have nothing, but kind, supportive and loving people in my life. And yet...
I STAND IN MY WAY
That's it. We only have one life to live. I want to help us remove the doubts, fears, hesitations, and seriously start to practice self love and body positivity. I didn't overcome years of mental battles & body insecurity to come back into life not actively acknowledging my own self-worth.
So, let's do this together.
Yoga + Confidence
One of my favorite ways to express myself is through my yoga practice. Yoga is what picked me up and brushed me off when I was at my weakest. It changed my life for the better, and it instilled such a balanced perspective of what a healthy life looks and feels like. By challenging yourself to move, bend, touch, feel and hold stillness, you get up close and personal with your body, and in result, you begin to understand it, appreciate it, and hopefully even love it more.
For the past couple of years, I've fallen into the habit of creating manifestos for myself. From manifestation boards to scribbled words of affirmation in my journal, I've always been pretty good with expressing my emotions out loud. So, I wanted to share it with you all.
*These are my own words, thoughts, & personal beliefs.
