I’m a mama, author, creator, and pro homebody. Through my writing, videos, and lifestyle tools, I help you design a more intentional life — one that’s supported by feel-good systems and grounded in self-care.
I’m into:
✧ simple habits that sneak up on ya and end up changing your life.
✧ leveraging technology to create space in your mind and calendar.
✧ finding magic and joy in the everyday.
To me, productivity doesn't mean hustling your way to burnout or maximizing every moment of every day. Sometimes it means closing your laptop, binge-watching K-dramas, or doing absolutely nothing — and not feeling guilty about it.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to intentional living, but together we can explore what feels good, leave what doesn’t, and build your own version of an intentional life you’re excited to wake up to every morning.
Jules Acree is an author and creator known for her newsletters, Slow Brew Sunday and Mother, Etc. — a Substack bestseller. Her debut book, This Season of Life, is a collection of encouraging stories and gentle practices for navigating the busy, slow, and in-between seasons of life.
Across her work, she shares reflections on mindful productivity, intentional living, and motherhood. Passionate about helping people slow down and create more space for what matters, Jules has spent nearly a decade building a body of work across digital tools, thoughtful systems, storytelling, and writing — all centered on bringing more ease to everyday life.
Jules has worked with leading brands like Google, Notion, and Skillshare, bringing her thoughtful, intentional approach to life online. Offline, she’s often found with a matcha in hand, living a cozy, creative life alongside her husband, daughter, and two rambunctious dogs.
I believe in…
simplifying life to find more joy
ditching the all-or-nothing mindset
making wellness work for you
creating intentional + clutter-free spaces
building slow + sustainable habits that stick
My Pillars of Productivity
Intentionality
Over Reactivity
Living intentionally means doing life by design. It means ditching reactivity and finding what feels good to you. When you slow down, find clarity, and create systems that support you, you open yourself up to more freedom, ease, and fulfillment in your daily life.
Work-Life
Harmony
Forget balance. Find structure. Structure creates freedom, and to find harmony in your work and life, you've gotta reduce the task switching, digital clutter, messy backend, and get your internal systems together.
Rest &
Self-Care
Self-care is productive AND it's a non-negotiable. By weaving in wellness with your work, you create a beautiful ripple effect that allows you to show up more vibrantly for yourself and for others. *chef's kiss*
Innovative
Systems
Let technology support your life - not run it. When you invest a little upfront time to create systems that flow *with* you, you can then copy, paste, paste your way to more ease and freedom.
Long before the newsletters, digital tools, and now a book, it all started in 2014 with a wellness blog called Om & The City.
You may have seen me handstanding my way through NYC and snapping photos of my smoothie bowl for the ‘gram. My work in wellness took me all over the country, where I created content, taught yoga, spoke at events, and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.
Most importantly, it’s where I connected with an online community of other mindful humans… and it’s how I met some of my closest friends today.
As my biz grew, so did my responsibilities and my to-do list. After hitting burnout more than a few times, I felt the nudge to get real about what I wanted my life and biz to look and feel like.
Oftentimes, it’s the simplest shifts that lead to the biggest change in your life.
For me, it was one simple closet cleanout that led me to realize the link between my physical environment and my anxiety. I became immersed in the idea of clearing space for what matters, finding ease, and being intentional with what I allow into my life (and onto my calendar).
This led me to where I am today — a writer, creator, and gentle systems-loving homebody who nerds out on the little shifts that make everyday life feel better.
I'm excited to pass along the tools from my toolbox to help you create your own version of an intentional life.
When you consciously take steps to simplify your life, you make room for the people, places, and things that truly matter. And thus, you begin actually living life by your own design — not by default.
Thank you for being here. Stay awhile. x
