5 Life Lessons I Learned from My Plants
Hi friends, Let’s talk about plants. I’ve been thinking a lot about my love for plants and why we as humans are so drawn to them. The short simplified answer is that plants make people feel good. And there’s plenty of studies out there that show the correlation of plant care to self-care and the positive impacts plants can have on our mental health.
I know first hand taking care of my plants... is a very meditative experience for me. It calms my nerves, makes me happy when I see a new baby leaf sprout, and I love the way I feel in my home being surrounded by so much life. There’s a lot our plants can actually teach us...
So today, I am going to take you with me as I tidy up my home + do some plant-care, which turns out to also be a form of self-care for me. By creating an environment where my plants can thrive, I’ve also found the connection and essential lessons that can be learned whether you’re a plant or a human being.
