A Summer Picnic Date at the Park & Allergy-Friendly Shopping List

It’s heating up in Austin, Texas and let me tell you, I am loooving it.  Andrew and I are having so much fun exploring our new city, and so far, most of our time is spent outdoors. We’re big fans of Zilker Park, so decided to bring Luna and have a picnic on the big open lawn. We grabbed our portable speaker, some yummy allergen-friendly snacks, and a few cans of  Truly Spiked & Sparkling… the perfect trifecta for a lovely afternoon date.

If you’re looking to have a picnic and have a slew of food allergies like me, here is a list of what we packed for a laidback picnic date!

Have you tried Truly yet?! For something a little boozy, yet  clean and refreshing, I recommend trying this spiked sparkling water! It’s definitely a great option when you’re trying to balance your lifestyle and social life and doesn’t contain any liquor or spirits, rather the alcohol comes from fermented cane sugar and a hint of fruit. There are no artificial flavors or sweeteners, which is yet another win. Truly comes in SO many styles we love, like Wild Berry, Blueberry & Acai, Raspberry & Lime,  Lemon & Yuzu, Colima Lime , Grapefruit & Pomelo , Pomegranate and Sicilian Blood Orange. It’s also available nationwide via local distributors in slim cans, and variety packs. You can head to the Truly finder to locate the product in your area! If you’re the girl who always brings kombucha to the party, Truly is another option for you to try! No mo’ fomo.

This picnic date was not only wonderfully refreshing for my body, but also for my mind. It has been a whirlwind moving across the country, finding a car (see vlog here), creating our new space, and just getting settled. It was so nice to just sit, relax, and enjoy one another in our new city in one of our new favorite spots. Just a few hours of quality time and chatting about all the change  was the perfect breath of fresh air we all needed (including Luna).
